For 2020 the Idaho Outdoor Association is excited to announce a new charter with Scouting BSA. The IOA will become a chartering organizing for Scouting. This means that the new Troop 11 will begin meeting at the IOA Hall on Monday evenings from 7 - 8:30.
The first meeting will be held January 13th at 7 PM. This will be an informational and registration meeting for existing Scouts that are interested in moving over from their old organization to Troop 11, and for new Scouts that are interested in starting a Scouting experience, age 11 - 18.
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Troop 11, the new IOA Scouting unit will focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility and will be involved with service projects that help mitigate environmental impact in recreation areas through stewardship. The unit will focus on building outdoor leadership skills in youth through camping, hiking and outdoor adventure.

Existing leaders for Troop 11 will be:

Brian Loomis - Chartered Organization Rep
R.D. Hill - Scoutmaster
Ben Johnson - Assistant Scoutmaster
Paula Lewis - Committee Member
