After Thanksgiving Hike up Cervidae Peak

Please join us for an afternoon hike to the summit of Cervidae Peak. This 4.4 mile round-trip outing is somewhat strenuous as it gains 1,883ft in 2.2 miles. The trail is in pretty good condition but is steep in some sections. Don't be too discouraged however, a good walking stick will be of great use in the steep areas. From the summit you will be treated to an expansive view of mountains near and far, including the snow-covered Trinity Mountains. 

The long term forecast shows that chances of rain are slight, but it will be a brisk day, so bundle up. Frank will be leading the group and will regale you with the history and geography of the surrounding area.
