Idaho Shakespeare Festival - Volunteer Sign Up

Thank you for Volunteering at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival performance of Romeo and Juliet!

The Idaho Outdoor Association is confirmed for Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 5:00 – 10:00 PM.

Attention: You will need to find a backup if you have volunteered and can't make it! Please call Janice as soon as possible if this happens at 208-429-9908 x303. 

Here are the next steps:

1. The group will meet at Flatbread in Brown Crossing at 3 PM. Attending this meetup is optional.

2. All volunteers must be at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival location at 5 PM. We will need our entire group present at 5:00 PM for the House Manager’s orientation. It is best to arrive a few minutes early to stake out your spot on the hillside with a blanket or low beach-style chairs.

3. Tasks will be assigned at the House Manager’s orientation. The tasks will include prepping the theatre before and after the performance, greeting patrons, assisting patrons with seating and answering patron questions, collecting trash and keeping up the theater’s general appearance, communicating any issues to the House Manager promptly, and enjoying your evening at Idaho Shakespeare Festival!

4. Please wear appropriate, comfortable clothing.  Corporate/group t-shirts are always welcome.  You will be provided with half aprons and custom name tags to identify you to our patrons.  Be sure to wear comfortable, close-toed shoes, and be prepared for the weather.  Other items you may consider bringing include water bottles, mosquito repellent, sunglasses, sunscreen, and your picnic!

Volunteers are entitled to a 10% discount at our Souvenir Boutique and Café Shakespeare (when wearing your apron and nametag).
