Hump Day Hike at Cottonwood Creek

Our November Hump Day Hike will be an easy 1.7 mile loop along Cottonwood Creek in the Military Reserve Park. Our route will take us up the Cottonwood Creek Trail, then down the Toll Road Trail. Cottonwood Creek is a lovely riparian zone that illuminates with fall colors. Though it is late in the season, there should be lingering color for our viewing pleasure.  

Because darkness comes early in November, we will begin the hike at 5:00 sharp. Those arriving late can meet us along the loop by traveling clockwise around the loop (starting on the Toll Road Trail), while we travel counterclockwise.

It will be cold and possibly dark by the time we finish. Bundle up and bring a headlamp.

We will meet at the trailhead. It is located a half mile up Mountain Cove Road, just beyond the prominent curve.
