Bender Creek Hike

Hello Idaho Outdoor Association outdoor enthusiasts!

Join us for a hike at Bender Creek in the Danskin Mountains. Our route will follow well-maintained motorized trails of moderate difficulty. There is not a specific destination to aim for, just a pleasant foray into the Bender Creek drainage. We will only travel as far as the group wants to go.

Our journey will begin at the Idaho Outdoor Association Hall. We will meet at 4:30 pm, then caravan to the Bender Creek Trailhead, about a 35 minute drive. Just a heads up, the drive includes 7.5 miles of dirt-surface road.

If you are unable to meet us so early on a workday, one option is to simply catch up to us on the trail. Our route is an out-and-back and we will be moving slowly. Simply follow Trail #300 (the only trail to start on) for about a mile to Trail #510. Turn right onto Trail #510 and you will soon find us.
